Host International Students for Thanksgiving
This Thanksgiving, we have an opportunity to serve and bless students from foreign countries who are studying at Case and other schools. Many of these students have never set foot in an American home, and are too far from their families to make it practical for them to fly home for the late November break. As such, we'd love to welcome them into our homes to share our Thanksgiving meals in the name of Christ.
Would you be interested in having two or more students join you for your Thanksgiving celebration? If so, e-mail Milka Hanook of Intervarsity or e-mail Yang Sun of International Friends. We partner with both organizations to help them place students in the homes of those in our church.
Lunch & Learn - Nov. 13
While some have been around since the beginning of Parkside Heights, others have started attending sometime later along the way. And we are thrilled that you have! But we figure you might have some questions about the church, both why we started it and what we want it to be about. With this in mind, we'll be hosting a Lunch & Learn Sunday, November 13 after our 10am morning service, where we'll eat together and then discuss the history and priorities of Parkside Heights, giving you a chance to ask any question you might have. The lunch is free!
