Kids

Our children’s ministry exists to serve the youngest in our church family. We want to partner with parents to help children learn what it means to be a follower of Christ.

On Sundays

Drop Off

Children’s ministry is offered for little ones from birth through 5th grade during our 10am service.

  • Nursery (Under 3)

  • Preschool (3-4)

  • School-age (Grades K-5)

We know that getting young kids to church isn’t always an easy process, and so we want to do everything we can to make the Sunday morning drop-off as smooth and secure as possible. We do our best to create a welcoming, safe, and fun environment for your kids so that your whole family can focus on worship and learning.

When you arrive, make your way to the children’s check-in area, which is located to the right of the doors to the auditorium. We will add your child’s name to our digital registration system, print off a name tag, for your child, and provide a label for you to turn in when you pick up your child. Kids who are birth-4 will go straight to their childcare rooms, but kids in grades K-5 join the main service until they are dismissed to their class right before the sermon.

The process is simple and provides a safe and secure setting for kids. If you have any questions before your visit, please contact us, as we’d be happy to answer them.

Curriculum

Children learn from The Gospel Project, which teaches them the big picture of God’s story. This curriculum is an exciting, Christ-centered approach that takes children chronologically through the Bible. During these lessons, Christ is central and all stories lead back to Jesus and what He has done for us.

Volunteering

If you would like to serve in Children’s Ministry, we’d love to have you! Please e-mail our Children’s Ministry Coordinator, Ruthanne Hoshiko, as she’d be delighted to answer any questions you might have and let you know about the next steps.

During the Week

As much as we can, we also want to minister to families during the week. Many of our Community Groups have childcare to enable parents to participate in these groups. We also have a Young Family Play Group that enables parents of young children to connect with each other and communicate with each other to find times to be together.
