Chili Potluck!
Join us this Saturday, October 15 from 5-8pm for a church-wide chili potluck! The event will be held at a facility called The Warehouse (31200 Solon Rd., Solon): when you arrive at this address, take the driveway all the way to the back of the parking lot, where you will find the venue.
We are still looking for 3 people to bring pots of chili. Can you bring one of them? If so, please email Ida Walker. Otherwise, please bring a side or dessert to share.
Kids of all ages are welcome. The facility has a few basketball hoops and other fun games for them to play while there.

Pray for John Hay
"But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare." -Jeremiah 29:7 (ESV).
As a church, we are thankful that God has provided us with a space to meet at John Hay High School. There are few places like it in and around University Circle: they have an auditorium, classrooms for children, and parking!
As we gather there on Sundays, we'd love to bless the school even as they have blessed us with meeting space. Towards this end, we've started praying for the school on the 3rd Sunday of every month: we pray for the teachers, administrators, and students there. Join us this Sunday, October 16 after service in room 182 as we do that again.

For those who are serving in our children's ministry during service (thank you!), we recognize that it can be a little more challenging to stay up-to-date on what is happening in the life of the church.
