Our Story

Parkside Heights is a church plant of Parkside Church in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Desiring to impact Northeast Ohio for the Gospel, and given that a number of Parkside Church members lived in Cleveland Heights, University Heights, Shaker Heights, and Beachwood , we began to target the Heights area for a new church.   

After running information meetings in February and March of 2021 for any who might be interested, a core team of people began to pray for the church plant in the spring of 2021.  Then, in the summer of 2021, we initiated Exploration Meetings, where we met to discuss what we wanted to be about as a church, and why and how we planned to do things.

After beginning Community Groups in the Fall of 2021, God answered our prayers for a Sunday morning meeting venue, as we were able to secure rental space at John Hay High School, a few blocks away from Case Western Reserve University and other University Circle institutions. We began Sunday morning services there on January 23, 2022.

Our goal at the church is to glorify God by helping people become committed followers of Jesus Christ.
