College

We want Parkside Heights Church to be a home away from home for college and university students.

Whether you are a college undergrad, medical, dental, music or other grad student, from the United States or another country, we’d love to get to know you and help you during your time in Cleveland. Our church meets in University Circle near Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Institute of Music, and the Cleveland Institute of Art, and is a short drive from John Carroll , Cleveland State, and Notre Dame College.

Undergrad

During the Fall and Spring Semesters:

  • On Sundays, you can meet up with other students and walk to church together. Meet at 9:15am at the Coffee House (and we’ll buy you a free coffee!). Some of the students have cars and can give you a ride if it is raining/snowing.

  • On Thursdays, join us at the Tinkham Veale University Center from 11:30am - 1:30pm for lunch and a discussion. Even if you can only make it for part of that time due to your schedule, we’d love to have you join us.

  • Talk to a fellow Parkside Heights student, or contact us, to join the Parkside Heights College GroupMe. We use this to let our students know about events that are happening at the church.

Grad

  • Talk to another grad student, or contact us, to join the Parkside Heights Young Adult GroupMe. This is a way for young adults, whether in school or working, to connect with each other and let each other know about different things that are happening in the church and community.

  • If you are a medical or other student interested in a medical field, you can join the Parkside Heights Medical Fellowship, which is a group of people at Parkside Heights who are affiliated with the medical community and gather regularly to encourage one another.  Whether you have been a believer for a while or are just curious about the things of faith, this is a great opportunity to meet other people in the field.

  • Come to a Service.

We’d love to have you join us for church. We meet on Sundays at 10am at John Hay Campus High School, which is located in University Circle. Whether you are a Christian and wanting to take the next step in your faith, or a skeptic who wants to find out more about Christianity, you are welcome!

  • Check out a Small Group.

We believe that your student years are a unique time to learn and grow. And that relationships with other students and those ahead of you on the journey are key to that. Our small groups are the engine of life together at Parkside Heights and a great way to get to know other folks at the church.

  • Need a Ride?

We recognize that you may not have a car, so we’d be happy to give you a ride to our Sunday morning service, our small groups, or any other event that we are hosting. Let us know if you need a ride to something and we’ll connect you with someone else at the church who can help you get there.
