Our Team
Dan Southam, Lead Pastor
Dan was born and raised in Ohio. He is a graduate of Duke University with a Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering. After working as an engineer for a couple years, Dan made the switch to pastoral ministry and joined the staff of Parkside Church in August of 2007. He served in a number of different ministries and graduated with an MA/CS from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Dan began pursuing the church plant in August of 2020. He and his wife Olivia, whom he met at Duke, have four children: Sophie, Lucy, Abby and Liam.
Peter Lindia, Associate Pastor
Peter was born in Durham, North Carolina, and lived there until he moved to Illinois to attend Wheaton College where he met his wife Ellie. He graduated from Wheaton in 2020 with a degree in Christian Formation and Ministry, and then moved to Ohio to take part in Parkside’s Pastoral Residency. Peter then joined our staff in the summer of 2021.
Joan Lacey, Women’s Discipleship & Administrative Assistant
Joan and her husband Bob have been a part of Parkside Heights since the beginning, and she joined our staff in January 2023. She has a real interest in discipleship and passing along what God has taught her. She has two adult children.
