When someone is freed from slavery, one would think that they would never want to return to bondage. However, as Paul observes in Galatians 4:8-20, the Galatians were forsaking their spiritual freedom in Jesus and going right back to being enslaved. And lest we think this was only an ancient problem, we often do the same thing: we turn from the Gospel or add to the Gospel, and find the same result.
