Good Friday & Easter

Good Friday & Easter

Join us next week as we remember and celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ:

  • Good Friday Service: Friday, March 29, 6:30pm, at John Hay High School. There will not be any children's ministry or nursery at this service, but kids of all ages are welcome. We will have Kids' Kits for them to color during the service.

  • Easter Service: Sunday, March 31, 10am, at John Hay High School. Children's ministry will be offered as normal this Sunday, with classes from birth - 5th grade.

We have had some invite cards made up, so if there are people you'd like to invite to join you for either of these services, please take some cards on Sunday or swing by the church office. Or, if it is easier to share information digitally, you can download the Good Friday artwork or download the Easter artwork and share it via text or social.

An Easter Playlist

As we anticipate Good Friday and Easter, and knowing the power of music to both teach us about God and give us words to express our hearts to Him, we've prepared an Easter playlist that you can listen to on Spotify (if you don't have Spotify, there is a free ad-supported version you can sign up for). We hope that the songs in this playlist will help you to reflect upon Jesus' death and resurrection and what it means for us.  Also, for any who aren't aware of this, we have a more general Parkside Heights Playlist on Spotify, where you can listen to songs that we play at the church or are hoping to introduce in the near future. We hope having access to these songs during the week will be an encouragement to your heart and soul.

Chili Potluck - Saturday, April 13

Back by popular demand, join us for a church-wide chili potluck on Saturday, April 13! The event is scheduled for 4-7pm at The Loft in Solon (31200 Solon Rd), and the plan is to eat together, hang out, and get to know each other better. The location also has inflatables and basketball hoops so kids can run around and play.

If you are planning on coming and able, please sign up to bring either a crockpot of chili, bread/cornbread, a side, or a dessert. We'll provide the plates, bowls, utensils, and drinks. If you are unable to bring something, please don't let that hinder you from coming. We'd still love to have you.

The Loft is located at 31200 Solon Rd. in Solon. Once you find the driveway off Solon Rd., follow it all the way to the back, where you'll find parking and the entrance.
